 개역개정 이에 그들이 엿보다가 예수를 총독의 다스림과 권세 아래에 넘기려 하여 정탐들을 보내어 그들로 스스로 의인인 체하며 예수의 말을 책잡게 하니
 KJV And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
 NIV Keeping a close watch on him, they sent spies, who pretended to be honest. They hoped to catch Jesus in something he said so that they might hand him over to the power and authority of the governor.

 ACV And having watched him, they sent forth insidious men pretending themselves to be righteous, so that they might take hold of his word, in order to deliver him up to the rule and to the authority of the governor.
